Kafu stressed that former football stars and players now participate actively beyond mere ambassadorial or promotional roles, as they are involved in FIFA's committees, projects, and working groups.
He stated: "In the last decade, we have witnessed FIFA’s activities and Infantino’s leadership aimed at increasing representation in football, a phenomenon not previously experienced. Current and former players have garnered their own voice and position within the decision-making processes by engaging in committees, projects, and working groups."
