The former captain of Brazil conveyed his thoughts through a post on Instagram, highlighting FIFA's efforts to enhance the involvement of current and former players in the decision-making processes related to world football.

Kafu stressed that former football stars and players now participate actively beyond mere ambassadorial or promotional roles, as they are involved in FIFA's committees, projects, and working groups.

He stated: "In the last decade, we have witnessed FIFA’s activities and Infantino’s leadership aimed at increasing representation in football, a phenomenon not previously experienced.
