According to Mehr News Agency, Donald Trump, the President of America, took a firm stance against Iran today, Tuesday, on his social media platform known as "Truth Social".

In an attempt to ease the heightened tensions within his nation due to costly incursions into Iran, the American president asserted: "At this very moment, while we are speaking, the United States is launching strikes on Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz. These attacks are substantial and powerful and are in retaliation for the Iranians' unsuccessful efforts to lay naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz, which is currently free of mines (they have been entirely removed or detonated!), and the firing of eight missiles by the Iranians that were all successfully intercepted at our military base in Jordan."

Ignoring the growing apprehension among his military regarding potential retaliatory strikes from the Iranian naval forces, Trump claimed: "If Iran responds to this very justified attack, they will face an even more severe level of retaliation; however, this won't be the largest of such responses to come. When it finally occurs, very little of the Islamic Republic of Iran will remain!"

Previously, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released a statement on the social media platform X, claiming that at 12 PM Eastern Time today, American forces commenced their assaults on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targets in Iran.
